Elmere House Bed & Breakfast

Stayed here for a long weekend in the fall. The property is beautiful and well-kept inside and out. The location is convenient and the breakfast is delicious. The hosts Michael & Bill (and their adorable dog Bentley) were the highlight of the stay. They are so kind and accommodating. We requested to have breakfast made dairy-free and they went above and beyond to make sure the food was safe for us to eat. Would definitely stay again!

Elmere house Bnb perfect place and stay for Maine in early fall. The proprietors Mike and Bill can't do enough to make you feel like visiting family and they are your favorite cousins. Bill mostly handles the DEE Lish breakfasts (highlight of waking up) and Michael serves and provides the lighthearted conversation. The building is rustic and brightly painted w a front yard w lawn furniture and a gas firepit. The porch is great for an afternoon cocktail(Byob) which Bill came by and talked of history of their beginnings Rooms are various sizes and beds are quality sleeping fixtures. Its quiet, clean and cozy. Its a perfect place to visit north or south of Maine and near to the place for lobster, the Pound!! Elmere House Bed and Breakfast is in a wonderful location — just minutes from both downtown Ogunquit and Kennebunk, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. The on-site parking made everything so convenient.||From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Bill and Michael personally greeted us, introduced themselves, and gave us a personal tour of the property, which immediately made us feel at home.||Our room was beautifully decorated, spotless, and had every comfort we could want. The bed and pillows were so comfortable — truly one of the best nights’ sleep of our trip.||Breakfast in the morning was a highlight. The hosts, Michael and Bill, haven’t seen us in six years since they first opened the inn but made us feel so welcome in their “home.” The room, the shared spaces, and the grounds are impeccable. Bill’s eggs benedict were perfection as well as the blueberry pancakes we were served for our two night stay. Our room was extremely well appointed with everything we could ask for. The bed was fabulous as was the jacuzzi which was much needed after long days walking, shopping, and noshing. There aren’t enough kind words to describe our experience or our hosts. My husband and I highly recommend the beautiful Elmere House B&B. Owner hosts Michael and Bill were incredibly welcoming and went the extra mile to ensure we had a wonderful anniversary. Our suite was spotless, very comfortable and beautifully decorated.||Chef Bill’s breakfasts were delicious and served on served on lovely China, each table complete with a fresh flower. Michael was an exceptional, attentive server. A great start to the day!||We loved our stay and cannot wait to go back. Highly recommend the Elmere House!
