Ellinikon Agora, Greek Market

I stopped by Ellinikon in Highland Park and was pleasantly surprised by how much they offer — from sandwiches, baked goods, and desserts to a great selection of Greek market items like olive oils, jams, beans, and pasta. I had the Plato sandwich (smoked salmon, onion, fresh dill, cream cheese, and balsamic cream) along with a vanilla iced chai latte — both were absolutely delicious. I also tried the lemon danish, which was fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly, the space was clean, and the service was great. I’ll definitely be returning!

This is an absolute gem in Highland Park. Walking in feels like stepping into a beautiful Grecian market where all your culinary dreams can come true (and for me, turning the dream into reality is still a work in progress!). The olive oil I purchased is exquisite — I truly notice a difference. For the first time, a guest even commented that my fish wasn’t overcooked! The variety of balsamic flavors inspires a whole fashion show of dressings — from fig to pomegranate to classic. My salads are now the best dressed at work… lol. The hummus and feta are incredibly fresh, the canned dolmas are delicious, and I can’t wait to go back to try the café options. The staff were kind and very helpful. Highly recommend!

This place makes the best fresh squeezed orange juice in town. My parents and I love their croissant with egg and cheese. The staff is so friendly as well! Excellent service.

I could write paragraphs about how incredible this cafe is. The drinks are delicious and the pastries, sandwiches, and omelettes are incredible with vegan and vegetarian options available. It’s super cozy inside with lots of seating, I love coming here to work, read, or catch up with friends. The staff are absolutely the sweetest. Once I spent all day working from this cafe and one of the staff (I believe it was the owner) randomly brought over a free slice of cake for me, which was so kind. This place is truly a gem!

A beautiful place, nice vibe. Service is amazing :) Good food, good workers, amazing drinks. Shoutout to Chris who made my caramel latte, truly a place worth visiting!
