Courteous and warm staff. Nicely decorated dining room. We ordered hot and sour soup, stirred fried cauliflower, spicy fish fillets, eggs and tomato sauteed. We Love spicy spicy dishes, but not with so far and too much starch. These are the exact reasons I'm not totally happy with the dishes.

The first time the food was very good, so I decided to come back again after two weeks. Even though the service was not that good — I had to ask many times to refill my water even when the place wasn’t busy — it was only us there at the time. The second time, I ordered the same food as the first visit. Everything else was great, except the stir-fried beef was way too salty — barely edible. So I asked if they could remake it. They did, but it didn’t taste any different. It seemed like they just took the original dish to the back and brought out the same one again. I told the waitress right away after the first bite that I didn’t want it anymore. However, they didn’t remove it from the bill. I had to ask about it, and they only took 50% off the dish and gave me a $10 voucher for the next v

The portions were generous, the ingredients high quality, and the spice level was customizable, which I really appreciated. If you enjoy spicy food with complex flavors, this place is a must-try.

Had an amazing meal here! The dishes were flavorful and authentic — especially peppercorn beef cubes, which were perfectly seasoned. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the overall dining experience was really enjoyable. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to!

I tried Ge Shifu and honestly, the food was pretty average. The only dish I found quite decent was the stir-fry, especially the Farmhouse Stir-fried Pork. The flavor was okay. However, their signature dish, the pickled fish, was quite underwhelming—it honestly felt no better than using a ready-made seasoning pack at home. On the positive side, the prices are reasonable, so overall it’s just an “okay” spot.
