Elkin Public Library

Library staff is very friendly, facility is clean and comfortable. They are able to order in most anything a person would want to check out, even if they don’t have it in the building. Love the digital borrows from Libby and hoopla too.

This library really does a wonderful job serving the area. They offer things like reading time for toddlers, teen centered activities, and even free tax services for those who qualify in our in need. They offer thousands of books and are coordination with other libraries so chances are if you need a book they most likely can get it for you. The librarians are Devine people and are always interested in helping in any way they can. They are precious and deserve every good thing that comes to them. Overall, this library goes above and beyond what is expected of a normal library and we are so grateful for them . They are active in Facebook and up date their website regularly so check those out for the most up to date activities and information. It.

Elkin Library, on N Front St., always has a computer available to use, current subscription to 30+ magazines, and an outstanding view thru their window wall of Big Elk Creek waterfall. Elkin Library has free fast WiFi. You can print thru email anytime, only 10 cents for black & white pages. The restrooms are always clean. Most importantly, the friendly staff always has some type of program for all ages to enjoy.

My little boy and I always love coming to the library. The staff are so helpful and kind. We have a million unread books at home but there's just something special about visiting the library. We love reading in the window and watching the waterfall.

Awesome experience every single time.. the public library is a great place to go if u don't own a computer.. or especially a printer.. black & white copies are 10 cents a page.. & you can also email a document to be printed to their email.. it is a very resourceful place! They also keep all the up to date books for young readers & adults alike 😉
