Eli's Original Steaks & Subs

We wanted a good sub for dinner before heading back to SC. Eli's looked like a good choice based on previous Google reviews. Since this is a corner neighborhood restaurant, parking was a bit hairy with our trailer in tow. We found a spot long enough a couple of blocks away. Well worth the walk!! We got a large Italian Hoagie fully trimmed. More than enough for the both of us. Fresh bread with ample toppings had us sleeping like babies back at the hotel. Great stop!

First time visit. Nice corner sub shop. The boardwalk fries were very good. I got a cheese steak hoaigie, it was huge and delicious and the same was a good tasty spicy sauce. Also hoagie roll was excellent. Owner was there very friendly. Would go again and highly recommend.

I stopped in earlier today because I took a young man to tour nearby Lehigh University. As I was placing my order I told the woman that I had my favorite cheesesteak places in Philly and South Jersey. She said that she hoped that I would like theirs. Well, I loved theirs. The meat was seasoned and cooked excellently. She and the cook checked on me and my party several times to make sure we were satisfied. I told them I was and would definitely recommend them and return. Great food and friendly people.

Eli’s Deli is an absolute gem. I ordered the large Philly cheese sandwich with house-made chips, and both were incredible. The sandwich was packed with flavor, perfectly grilled, and just the right amount of cheesy goodness. The chips were crispy, fresh, and a perfect complement. Jay took my order, and Eli himself was on the grill—both super friendly and welcoming. The whole place had a great neighborhood vibe, the kind of spot where you feel like a regular even on your first visit. For $33, I got a sandwich, chips, and a soda, and honestly, the portion was huge—easily enough for two hungry people. Outstanding food, great people, and a place I’ll definitely be returning to. 100% recommend!

My Wife And I Went Here Today For The First Time. Man Was It Worth It. The Owner's Were Great. My Wife Had The Small Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich. I Had The Large Steak And Onions On A Hoagie Roll. Mama Mia That Sandwich Was HUGE AND Delicious. We Will Definitely Be Coming Back
