Vendors, caterers, please please please listen to your clients, no matter how unusual their requests may be lol. I had a 90s themed birthday party for my 40th and wanted to be as on-brand as I could, and for me, that meant cafeteria food! lmao. I don't know how many caterers I reached out to and explained this to only for them to try to sell me tacos, tell me it was "too many options," or try to upsell me on hand-passed appetizers and food that was just not what I had envisioned. Originally, Luis had sent me a draft menu consisting of sandwiches and chips. Close but not quite there. After perusing their menus on their website I realized what I had wanted was all basically food from their kids menu! Today Eleazar Catering hit it out of the park! They came up to a private ranch in Julian to cater lunch for a bunch of hungry cowboys and cowgirls. While while we were all out riding, they smoked tri-tip and whole chickens, made a red chimmichuri sauce that was out of this world and 2-die-4 Tequila shrimp! They also served several sides, including delicious baked beans, yummy Yukon potatoes with roasted garlic, amazing asparagus with corn off the cob, a perfect pasta salad plus homemade honey cornbread and still-warm-from-the-oven peach cobbler for dessert! Their service was impeccable and while it was a hot day, everyone had a huge smile - you could really see the pride they have for their company. We have used Eleazar Catering many times, including our wedding and highly recommend them f

I come across their kiosk every Wednesday at the Bonita-Sunnyside Branch city library parking lot, where there's a gathering of numerous businesses, mostly food venues. Every Wednesday, I venture to try the various food options, and Eleazar is by far the best value. Eleazar served a Bulgogi Burger that got me wishing I tried them the first time I started routinely visiting this event. At $10, the burger was delicious and very good. I haven't found a Bulgogi Burger in San Diego and usually get one when visiting Knotts Berry Farm in Anaheim. So, it was great to discover this kind of burger locally in San Diego. They make really good and tasty food. Their tacos for example were very tasty and came with really good homemade salsa!

I was so thankful to find Luis. He helped customize my menu for my wedding and people loved it. I had a friend who had allergies and he accomodated to my wedding so well. Thank you for your tasty food! I recommend him!
