The service was perfect !! We were greeted with a friendly hello and smiles from the staff. The food is spectacular. I had the smothered pork chops with mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes. My wife had the fried chicken with Mac&Cheese and collards. There wasn’t a crumb of anything left on our plates. It’s hard to say what we enjoyed most because all of it was delicious. The collards and sweet potatoes deserve more than 5 stars they are extraordinarily delicious. Don’t pass up Ella J’s it’s a true hidden gem

Great food. Collard greens were very good. Pork chops were also very tasty. Sweet tea just like at home.

The food was great however, the customer service was horrible meaning the male waiter was rude, pushy and unprofessional..After we finished our meal which totalled over $95.00 this waiter instead of bringing the bill to the table as customary the he insisted my handicap husband get up and walk over to the register only so he could point out the cost of the bill and what he expected his tip to be and only then did he bring the bill to the table. This type of behavior doesn't deserve a tip! Although the food was great this waiters behavior cost this business what would have been constant loyal customers.

The food was 👌🏽 VERY good Staff was friendly and welcoming felt like being at a family members home . I got an order of fried green tomatoes, POTROAST meal with rice and squash casserole and smothered pork chops with dressing and mac and cheese . No complaints at all . Actually planning to go back and try more my total was 39 and I think it was well worth it this is actual soulfood!!

Elea J's Southern Table is a must place to stop to try all the yummiest / delicious meal / dessert. They are warmth, friendly, welcoming and greet everyone with a smile. The food there are so home cooking meal that once you eat it... your taste bud remind you what your mom / grandma would cook. Every meal is like a holiday. As an actress / photographer... I always look for home cooking BC I'm never in the kitchen long enough to actually cook a home cook meal. Tell Chef Elea that Molly the actress say, "Hello."
