Elder Paintsil's African Restaurant

Not only was the man on the phone rude but the food was disgusting. The jollof rice was burnt, the meat was old and tough. I also ordered fried yams and chofi, I received some random pieces of meat. When I called to address the issue, he dismissed it as if that’s what I ordered. Never again! Dutty food and dutty place

The fish soup is reheated, and expensive. $25 for a bowl of fish soup is out of order tbh

This is my second time here. First time I got waakye, kenkey and fish. Second time I got yam, plantain & palava sauce, then kenkey (both fante and Ga) and fish. First time was a walk-in and took about 20 minutes from when I ordered till when I paid and left. Second time I called to order for pick up. I was told 20 minutes, I got there about 35 minutes later and the god wasn't ready so I left because I had other errands to run. I came back about 30 minutes later and it was ready. The cashing out process for my first time was great. It was a young lady who seemed to know what she was doing. The second time was an older lady, she was not mean but also wasn't nice. She didn't seem to know how to operate the cash machine and rang my order up twice - so had to insert my card twice for two diffe

The restaurant workers are very polite. But the food was awful. Sad to say it was a waste of $14. The chicken was flavorless, hard and the meat honestly was inedible. The skin was soft, but had no flavor, but for it's size it was hard to believe that the meat was so hard and just a waste. It was old to be freshly fried as I was told. And for raw un cook onions. Only was good was the fufu.

The food here is a hit or miss. Ordered some chofi which tasted good but I feel I was definitely overcharged compared to the other Ghana restaurants. A small portion of chofi was $15 which is ridiculous.
