El Viroleño Salvadorean Cuisine

i’ve been coming here for a couple years and they never disappoint , i always get the yuca and chicharrón then an order of pupusas revueltas with a side of rice and beans and it’s always so delicious , definitely one of my favorites and i reccomend trying all these dishes atleast once. you are missing out if you don’t!

The staff is kind and courteous. Two sisters and a mother run it with a smile and really know how to please the customer. The power went out in the whole plaza when I was there and yet they seemed fazed not. The food and smiles kept coming. El personal es amable y cortés. Dos hermanas y una madre lo atienden con una sonrisa y saben cómo complacer al cliente. Se fue la luz en toda la plaza cuando estuve allí, y aun así, no parecieron inmutarse. La comida y las sonrisas no se hicieron esperar. They helped me out when I was down and needed a mental/spiritual/gastronomical boost. I was treated like a king without even knowing me. I am SO impressed with the staff, food and menu items that if I could I would give them 9 1/2 stars out of five. But alas... I cannot. Come to Northampton Plaza on

Food and prices were reasonable. The place needs some work on ambiance, decor and appearance. The bathroom was deplorable.

This is hands down at the top of my list for favorite restaurants in Tallahassee!! Their food is phenomenal! It is a local family owned restaurant and I have been eating here for many years. My first time was at their Tennessee Street location. I love the Bistec Encebollado. Also, the Papusas and Curtido and hot sauce are so flavorful! We have always had great meals there. The portion size is healthy. Keep cooking that great food!!! We'll definitely be back!!

We enjoyed the pupusas here. The food was good. One waitress/hostess for the whole restaurant. The drinks options were limited. No view here.
