El Toro Mexican Restaurant - Palestine

My mom ordered quite a bit of stuff for lunch for me and my friends! The girl at the to go door was very nice! Cara made sure the order was correct and even gave us our food with a smile. It’s hard to find people my age that care about thier jobs! She is a keeper.

I’ve eaten at El Toro in Palestine more times than I can count, and it’s become my go‑to spot for dinner after work. The chips and salsa come out fast and fresh every time, and the fajitas are always sizzling and full of flavor. What really keeps me coming back, though, is the service. Our server, Jennifer “MC” (that’s what her name tag says), is hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had. She checks on us without hovering, keeps drinks topped off, and somehow remembers our usual order from a month ago. You can tell she actually enjoys taking care of people, and that makes the whole place feel welcoming. El Toro is lucky to have her on the team.

Great food in Palestine tx. Had the quest plus the Monterrey meal. Excellent! Very flavorful! It was a little loud - very busy place. Waitress was fine- just not friendly. However, do not pass this place up! You will not be disappointed!

My family came in tonight (2-27-26) to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday. The food was great, but our server, Jamie, was exceptional! As a General Manager of a restaurant, I notice everything about my service and I can honestly say, there wasn’t anything else she could have done to make it any better. Our chips were never empty, and we eat a lot, our drinks never ran out, she made sure the table stayed pre-bussed, we never had to look for her because she was always there when we needed anything and she had the best attitude. I told her it was my son’s bday but that he did not want everyone clapping or singing, but she still went out of her way to do something special for him. I have to say, she is probably the BEST server I have ever had at any restaurant.

We come here often and love having Kye and Jamie as our waitresses. They are very attentive and we don’t go without anything! Food is always delicious as well!!
