El Toro Mexican Restaurant

This was an excellent mexican restaurant and it has been awhile since I've been to a good one. As soon as I got in I was seated and they took my order as soon as I was ready. The server answered all my questions and was friendly. The chips and salsa 5/5. It also came with mexican ranch. I personally dont like ranch but after trying their version is was sweet and amazing. For my entree I order 3 street tacos el pastor with cheese at the bottom. 5/5 Don't judge me but for the 2nd taco I dipped it in cheese dip and yes it was delicious. The 3rd one I poured both cheese dip and salsa on top of it and yes it was also delicious. Im the type of person that likes to try and mix different things together to see if it could possibly work and the dish definitely worked together. For my drink I go

El Toro was busy as heck when we went (awesome for them!) so service was a little slower, but all of the workers were very nice. I got chicken enchiladas and a marg which hit the spot. Also love a restaurant that brings out chips and salsa right away. YUM!

The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and pretty fast. We love the queso to start. The salsa is chunky and not too zippy. The quesadillas and fajitas are great. The Texas Cadillac margaritas are the best. Celebrating birthdays there are the best! The staff sings, they wear sombreros and the fried ice cream is really good. Gracious!

El Toro totally hit the spot! The Pollo asado was juicy, full of flavor, and grilled just right. The tortilla chicken soup was just as impressive: rich, comforting broth with generous chunks of chicken, fresh avocado, crispy tortilla strips, and just the right touch of spice. It’s the kind of soup that warms you up and makes you feel at home. Super satisfying. The Flan was delicious 😋 Friendly service too. Definitely coming back!

While it did take a little while for our waitress to service the table, the food overall was pretty decent however I did find the chicken options to be quite soggy. (The soft shell tortilla was dripping from chicken moisture and the nachos had a pool of liquid at the bottom). I definitely recommend the molejete and the margaritas. The free chips with salsa and queso also hit the spot!
