El Tejado Mexican Restaurant

El Tejado has become my FAVORITE restaurant in the area for Mexican food! Always on point. Our favorite dish is the Texas Fajitas (for One, is plenty for Two and I usually have enough left for tomorrow's Lunch) The Steak in this dish is always perfectly seasoned and tender. Highly recommend

I got a grilled Fajita with beans and rice. The chicken was not grilled to me and had no season. It was a soft tortilla that I thought was going to be put on the grill for a little crispness with cheese on top. I have eaten her before very disappointed in the flavor of the food now.

We were so impressed! We were driving from Tanger Outlet to Bucees and needed something to eat. After using Google, we found this restaurant. We were so skeptical. Especially since it's attached to a motel. The server name was Daniel. He did a great job making sure we had everything we needed. The Margarita were so good!! They had Strawberry, Mango and Blue. Both Frozen and on the rocks. My food was so good. I got the Texas Allen Special. Everything was so seasoned! My only complaint was the portion size. They charged $2.50 to add vegetables. Next time I will. My mom had shrimp tacos. They were so Delicious, shrimp were crispy and enough in the shell. My other mom had a taco salad and she loved it. The best hands down I’ve had my entire life! We were passing through and decided to try this place! So glad we did!! Now I just need y’all to bring this to Florida! The chips and salsa was great! Spicy dip but great! The cheese they used on the quesadilla was AMAZING! The grilled chicken was AMAZING! All of it was AMAZING! I was full and couldn’t help but to just finish it! I just had to keep tasting it! I wish we lived closer I would definitely be eating here A LOT! Awesome staff!! Very nice waitress!! 10 🌟

The food was amazing! Quick service and friendly staff. The restaurant was clean and very inviting.
