El Taco Mexicano

not a big review person, today's tacos were so good i needed to change that. foods always good, but sometimes it exceeds amazing. the salsa is spicy but some of my favorites. would give ten stars if possible.

People running the truck are very nice. However, the food was honestly terrible. The burritos are basically nothing but refried beans. That’s all I could taste. The alambre was soggy, steak was dry, and veggies were unevenly cut (some cooked nice and others not so much). The corn was nothing outside of standard. We ordered two churros, but only received one. The churro was amazing (strawberry inside), and is honestly the only reason we’d go back and why it’s getting two stars.

This taco truck delivers an experience that stands shoulder to shoulder with some of the best Mexican food found in Southern California or Mexico itself. The carnitas, in particular, are exceptional—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and among the finest you’ll find at any taco establishment worldwide. The salsas deserve special mention: nuanced, spicy, and creamy, reminiscent of those served in high-end sit-down Mexican restaurants. The guacamole is equally impressive, prepared with care and authenticity. It’s not the overly processed, blended style some places offer, but rather the real deal—hand-made with a great mouth texture and bright, fresh flavor. Absolute fire! Tacos a la carte were on point. The rice was tasty also and the prices where reasonable. Made me feel like I was back in the Rio Grande Valley!!
