El Sombrero Mexican Cuisine

We went for an early dinner on January 16,2026 Friday night with my family. We ordered almost immediately. While we waited we ordered queso for the table side chips provided. Our food “Took FOREVER” getting our glasses full was a task. They didn’t remove any plates. Things just piled up. Once the food came. The carne Asada was gristle non eatable. My fiancé didn’t even eat it.. it was hard to chew and digest. I asked Natalie for a manager. After 30 mins waiting some lady named Joanie came to the table and said the manager isn’t coming. I asked I’ll wait and she said he’s not coming. I told her I’m not paying for this disgusting over cooked meal. I am very disappointed. She said I will take 1 off but not both. Went here for the taco Tuesday deal $6 for 4 tacos and rice/beans for $3 more. I was asked if I wanted “everything on it: crunchy, lettuce, tomato, cheese.” At the time I did not realize “crunchy” meant hard shell. They told me it would be 5 mins, which I confirmed since I thought that was pretty quick. Left work and went over there right away…. Only to wait for another 15 mins after arriving to get my food. Spent most of my 30 min lunch break only to get soggy hard shell tacos, soupy refried beans, and flavorless rice. Do yourselves a favor and go to the Taco Bell across the street. Probably will be faster and better. I ended up not eating the rice or beans, and all of my taco shells fell apart from how soggy they were. I had to give this restaurant 1 star but it don’t deserve any stars!! My fiancé had to send his food back 2 times and they still didn’t get it right. When he told the waitress she said OH you just don’t like the food don’t come back!!! Believe me We won’t be back EVER!!! Horrible service and food!! Dont waste your money!! Go to Taco Bell they know how to make a burrito.

Love coming here for a hearty meal. The rice and beans are super delicious and their Bria tacos are phenomenal. They offer 2 for 1 house margaritas and I’d highly recommend getting them!! If you like dinner with a show order the table side guacamole-they make it right in front of you!!

This was great! We have been here before but glad we came back! The staff is so friendly and on top of everything. The food was great and the dessert was great as well. We will be back for sure!
