El Señor Pig Mexican Restaurant

Wow! When we first stepped into El Señor Pig Mexican Restaurant we knew we were somewhere special. I had never heard of this place but my fiancé wanted a specific food for dinner, Mexican food! We googled, we both read reviews and this stuck out to us. Not realizing our huge mistake we chose another restaurant. So our first choice was not El Señor Pig but the universe said ‘nope! This wasn’t in the plan for your big weekend getaway from Columbus to come down here.” Back story: we had planned a weekend trip down to the Cincinnati/Ky area so we could visit the Newport Aquarium. Cheese dip with pulled pork was a great suprise. Margaritas were good and large. Burrito was very tasty. Tacos were decent. Meat was a little fatty. Would recommend and have been back several times.

Just moved down the street from this place and decided to get take out for the family. . I ordered a cheese quesadilla, a cheese chile relleno, and a cheese tamale. My wife got 2 beef quesadillas and a shredded chicken quesadilla. We also ordered a large order of chips and a large queso. I arrived and was greeted promptly and nicely. The food was slightly below our satisfaction, because of inaccuracy and portion size. The cheese tamale I ordered had chicken in it, which was disappointing. Also, the large chips (5.99) are not close to enough to go through a large queso, and we were left with a lot of extra queso with no chips to eat it with! Surprised the chips were so expensive for such a small bag. Of course I’m willing to pay for chips, but the under zealous handful was very disappointi

Super cute design and beautiful incorporation of the old, existing design and a new, refreshed look. Food was delicious and well-priced. Staff was very kind and attentive. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the Cincinnati-area so far. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a balance of affordable and high-quality.

Tasty! Nice hometown atmosphere. Salsa excellent. We had the lunche chicken chimi and the lunche Mr. Pig burrito. The rice is moister than most others. The guac is kick-ass. Definitely doing again!
