El Sarape Restaurant

We love coming here for great comfort food. The staff is always quick to approach and serve. Your food comes out fast and we've never gotten anything that we didn't like. You don't have to wait to be seated, you just go in and sit wherever you want. They have a Salsa bar that has all kinds of goodies. They serve drinks, my favorite is their frozen strawberry margarita.

This is probably considered one of the better Mexican spots in Parker, AZ—but to be honest, the food didn’t live up to the hype. I ordered the enchilada plate with both carne asada and pollo asado, and unfortunately, both meats tasted like they’d been cooked hours—if not a day or two—before. The flavors were interesting and very salty and had that telltale refrigerated-after-cooking taste. I absolutely love Mexican food and will likely return here when I’m in town for work, but it just doesn’t come close to the quality I’ve experienced in places like Mexico or San Francisco. Excellent meal, especially the grilled chicken dinner! Best margarita I've had in a long time. Meal portions were good size, staff were friendly and provided excellent service.

We eat here and look forward to it every year for the Parker race..this year we won’t have time on race day so we drove 40 minutes to go eat here with 7 people including two babies and it was just awful! For one no changing table for babies even though there’s a perfect spot for one in the bathroom. For two why would you put so much into the decor and vibe in the dining area but your bathrooms are truly disgusting and look like a bomb has hit them?? There’s even nasty wet toilet paper globs all over the ceiling GROSS! For three the highchairs need to be burned they’re way past being able to be cleaned! So nasty! And finally for four and five our waitress acted like we were bothering her at work she was so annoyed with the most unpleasant faces just taking our order. I had to go up and ask
