El Salvador Bakery

El Salvador Bakery is a staple in Northern Rhode Island! Some of the best service you could possibly get. Everyone who works there is more than happy to share their recommendations! Don’t forget to pick up some ice cream in the late spring and throughout the Summer months, you will NOT be disappointed! Personally, El Salvador Bakery is my go-to for Pan France or Bolillos if your family calls then that. More expensive than you would find in Santa Maria but just as good. Also the Conchas and Orejitas are a good choice. Please be sure to greet the team that works there in the best Spanish possible. I personally have not heard them speak English so just try with your Spanish it’ll go a long way in getting even better service.

Edit: the owner Rosa called me and apologized for both of my experiences. She was very kind, respectful and professional. If i am ever in the area I will stop in. My husband was driving me to work this morning. One of this bakery's trucks nearly side swiped us and then proceeded to blatantly run a red light. I attempted to call the store. The number listed is a personal cell phone number and the woman who answered said she didn't speak English. From the other reviews I think I might be the owner but i cant be certain. I then tried to message their Facebook page but the response is in Spanish.

I liked it, bread is fresh most of the time, alittle overpriced and they only accept credit card if you spend more then $10. Sometimes when there's 2 cashiers they don't pay enough attention to you cause there busy chatting
