Unfortunately I must say that my visit with my wife and daughter was not pleasant, the first few minutes were nice due to the atmosphere and the prompt attention in taking our order, but we had to wait a little over an hour to eat, and once we had our food, the shrimp were served in the soup unpeeled, meaning with the shell and tail on, and to top it all off the rice was overcooked and smelled rancid, in other words it was spoiled and tasted really bad, not to mention the meat soup which was just water with poorly cut pieces of potatoes and tasteless grass. The waitress ignored us after we let her know that the rice was spoiled and we thought she would change it or apologize for the bad timing, but that was not the case, we still had to pay for everything and we did but it was not pleasant
We were in Myrtle Beach on vacation and came across this hidden Gem. The food was delicious and the service was above and beyond great! We ordered food to eat and then we ordered some to go. Awesome place to eat. Will definitely be going back on our next trip!
Waitress was unattentive, rude, and seemed like she simply did not want to be there. I thought there might've just been a language barrier, so I felt she deserved some grace. Chips were stale. Guac, ok. Not bad; edible at least. We ordered Guisado de Pollo and Taquitos Dorados. Took what seemed like forever to get our lunch. Served with hair in BOTH orders. Several hairs in both dishes and flys were swarming all over everyone and everything. I cannot say I would recommend this restaurant.
Wow! We just had the most fantastic meal at this Salvadoran gem, and I'm still dreaming about the flavors. We ordered three dishes, and each one was a standout: First, we started with the Corn Atole. It was the perfect appetizer – a beautifully comforting and smooth soup. The sweetness was just right, not overpowering at all, and the corn kernels were wonderfully plump and flavorful. It was such a delightful and gentle way to begin our meal, truly whetting our appetites for what was to come. For our main course, we had the Fried Tilapia. This was cooked to absolute perfection! The outside was beautifully crispy and golden, providing a fantastic textural contrast to the incredibly tender and flaky fish inside. You could immediately tell the fish was exceptionally fresh; it tasted clean an
Absolutely delicious. Papusas were unreal, and the tacos were arguable the best I’ve ever had. The tortilla alone… I suddenly don’t believe any one else who’s said they made a homemade tortilla. All freshly made, so it takes a minute but is so worth it.
