EL Rincon Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar - Addison Circle

It was my first time here and I’m so glad I went. The customer service was exceptional from the minute we walked in. Our waitress was Kim C. and she was great! She gave us great recommendations and was attentive to our service the entire time. I got the platter and it was delicious. My friend ate the chimichanga and that was real yummy! We enjoyed our meals and will definitely return.

Great happy hours. Love the salsa, margaritas are great, not sweet. A big fan that they cool it with makes the food cold as soon as it arrives. So I think our food would have probably tasted better if it had been hot. When it arrived it wasn't really hot and with the big fan it got cold pretty fast. We want to go again and sit more in the middle of the restaurant vs down the ramp on the right side.

I am leaving this review to shout out our phenomenal waitress Kim! She was friendly, fun, and super helpful. Take her drink recommendations... You won't regret it. First, both previous times we have tried this spot we had exceptionally awful, rude service. We decided to give it one more shot because of convenience, and Kim was a world of a difference. Good food with strong flavors! A bit pricey, but a nice happy hour!

The waitress was nice and knowledgeable that can answer all our questions. The foods were just okay, flavorless and my quesadillas were kind of soft instead of crunchy crispy, and the fish tacos were over cooked, the fish taste burnt. Don’t recommend if you really want good food.

I ate at the Downtown Carrollton location last week. I discovered that there was a closer location to me in Addison. I decided to compare the two. I ordered the Papos lunch plate again. It was right on with the flavors. The chips and salsa were perfect! The beef taco was excellent! The General Manager, Harry, was so friendly and checked on me several times during my meal. He had greeted me at the door and was completely "hands-on." I was so impressed! I will be returning to get my Tex-Mex cravings satisfied in the future.
