Update: There aren't enough stars to truly relay to you how good the food here actually is. I had tacos, empanadas, and beef patties everything is authentic, and is absolutely incredible! I can't wait to go back and try the whole menu!!!
For 5 years I have lived across the street and have been so thankful this restaurant is there. In the morning I get the best bacon egg and cheese bagel I have ever had, french toast and fresh homemade (what I call) cheese danish. For lunch/ dinner I get the large dinner of Spanish rice and roasted pork that falls apart when you touch it, and is so juicy and tender that it leaves me satisfied. They also have household necessities and everyday items available, so if you were in a jam.. they save the day.
First time I had takeout it was good. 2nd time it was not so much. White rice undercooked and crunchy. The pernil is bland and I'm not a fan of having cheese in my beef empanadilla. Yellow rice was ok. The plantains seemed like they had been sitting there all day. Definitely not impressed. Not sure if I'd go back.
I’ve known them for years and I’ve never had a problem going there in regards to my food. They cook really really well! They have lots of choices check out the menu. Definitely worth it.
Charging $4 for a bacon egg sandwich is one thing, but skimping and having it come out looking like this (especially when it’s $1.75 extra just for some egg whites instead of the yolk as a preference) is CRAZY. No one should be charging that much if this is what the roll is gonna look like. It’s worth $2 maximum. The fries I had were good, but never again am I getting anything from here with the risk of wasting money. I’ve definitely had better bacon egg sandwiches for way less.
