El Quetzal Restaurant

The space is nice but the staff made the experience anything but welcoming. I ordered the pollo asado and clearly asked for no dairy. When my plate arrived, the beans had cream on them. I politely asked the server to remove it, and she told me, “That’s the way you’re supposed to eat it,” and refused to change the dish. That response was rude and unprofessional, especially after I had specified that I don’t eat dairy. I also felt humiliated throughout the meal. Every time I asked for something simple, like a to-go box because I didn’t finish my food, I was ignored or met with attitude. Being dismissed like that made the whole visit uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Beyond the service issues, the food was bland. I’ve had better Guatemalan food elsewhere. And a message to management: Customers

We only ever order the carne asada plate here and it is so good every time. Their hot sauce that comes with it is super spicy and taste great. They did recently up the prices and I think we payed around $20 each plate (we also added a grilled chorizo which is extra) but I still think it’s worth it since they give a significant amount of food and it’s fresh. This place tends to be busy but personally we haven’t had to wait long to get our food. Service is hit or miss but we usually take our orders to go.

super bad service the girls have bad services i love guatemala food is the best bad pople make the place look bad i save the recipe to ppl dont said i lied super disappointed for you guys next time you hire someone check they want work and dont go mad make face and rude actions food is expensive but good ppl bad have nice day last time i go to your restaurant

Food was so good, especially the carne asada. It might be a bit pricey but it's delicious.

Had a sopa de res , soup has flavor, meat is not tender and no seasoning, I didn’t expect much from a Guatemalan place to be honest
