Visited the area & found this local spot. Ordered the Birria pupusas & Birria tacos and they were phenomenal. Will definitely revisit.

Good Mexican food, but the salsas were too sweet. Superb staff. The place was unoccupied and a bit dirty for being so. None the less, the food was worth another trip

We came here for the first time tonight, on a cold and rainy winter night. They were closing up early because they hadn't seen a customer in a while due to the weather. However, they were kind enough to stay open just for us. I was really impressed, and we are now making El Puestito our new go to Mexican restaurant in Danbury. Everything was amazingly fresh and it was very well presented on the plate. It was also great value for money, and the owner was extremely friendly and gracious. Not much on atmosphere, but in a way that makes the experience all the more valuable, because you know you're there for the food. Highly recommend!

Food was amazing. Best pupusas ever. Everything was excellent. Family orienteded. Love to eat here.

The food was amazing very tasty and authentic. Highly recommended. My wife and kids loved the tacos we Got. Go try them out for yourself. You will be impressed..
