El Popocatepetl

Very delicious! I usually go for chicken tacos but the tacos de cecina looked so yummy and thank goodness I got them, so delicious and they aren’t afraid to pack them (4 tacos) with a ton of meat. I don’t speak spanish well so I think there was a misunderstanding when I said less onions they gave me none but that’s totally okay. Bonus points because the girl who took my order is muy linda

Everyone was friendly, service was great and personable even though I was not spanish speaking. Food was excellent… made authentic and from the heart. The inside needs some decluttering.. lots of stuff piled up all over the place. If you dont care about ambiance.. this place is perfect. Will be back when I am in the area. Margaritas were STELLAR!

Popocatépetl is one of my favorite spots. I used to go when it was BYOB and it was already great, but now they serve liquor and their margaritas are fantastic. The food keeps its authentic Mexican flavor with generous portions. I love going on Sundays when they have live mariachi music—it gives the place such a unique vibe. Friendly service, lively atmosphere, and fair prices. A must-visit!

When we entered the restaurant , we were acknowledged and greeted within a minute while they were busy. We were seated and given menus and complimentary warm tortilla chips with a couple of sauces and pico de gallo. The restaurant was clean, had lively mexican music, and it was nicely decorated. The waitress was friendly, gave us sufficient time to order. For drinks we got a freshly squeezed , natural orange juice & agua de jamaica which were both great. For food we ordered enchiladas de pollo en salsa verde & sopes de carne. The portions were absolutely generous and not to mention pretty damn good. We will continue to come here to enjoy their delicious dishes and excellent service

Phenomenal food with a unique taste, great atmosphere, and a very attentive servers. 10/10 would come back and recommend to anyone in the area.
