This Bistro a Jewel. As soon as you walk in, the ambiance, comfort, gentleness elegant style&design calms you. The owners greet and welcome you with warmth & sincerity. The menu is mouth watering and the food is amazing. There is also outside dining available. Parking is good too. The service was amazing, attentive and timely. The elegant touches of decor in the dining area truly reflect the time and Love put into creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable and It's BYOB. My meal was so filling I didn't have room for dessert which means I'll be back for a taste the apple cobbler. There is also a weekend Brunch and the space is available for special events or Celebrations. Thank you Mary & Justin (owners) for the Beautiful Happy Birthday you both sang to me

Went to Bishops Bistro tonight. Spring rolls, cod sliders, duck, oxtail, By the Bayou (sausage and shrimp), sea bass. Everything was good. We will definitely be back. The waiter could use some practice though.

Pick a different spot. If Novita Bistro & Lounge is packed and you need another place, do NOT make the mistake of coming picking this instead. It started off great until they start telling you that dont have whatevers on the menu. Even what I ordered had changed and without telling me they swapped it out with something else and said "sorry we didnt have that." Insane wait time. Took over an hour to bring out the food. Falling alsseping sitting there When I got up to leave, the food suddenly appeared. I didnt even wanna argue with the overly priced bill on food that we didnt even order. Paid the bill and couldnt wait to leave. Sadly unsatisfied. The managers walking around were very polite.

This resturant reminds me of my dining experiences in New Orleans. The food is well prepared and the service is friendly. It's right in the heart of Main Street Metuchen so you can people watch if you get a window seat. The owners came around and made sure the kids meals were prepared just to their liking. Great place. Highly recommended.

Very nice spot! Hidden gem! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we were given 1 piece of bread cut in half to share. That was offputting but the short ribs and veggies were delicious!
