El Pollo Loco

I worked high volume fast food drive thru almost full time for over four years and I have a lot of grace for people like me who have to maintain high efficiency and expectations, but I am likely going to stop coming to this Pollo Loco location and wanted to write a review simply because they never fail to completely forget items on my order. I always order ahead and always give time for it to be prepared beyond the allotted window on the app for readiness so that there is time for it to be ready when I arrive as not to rush the crew (anywhere from 5-20 minutes above the highest time in the order readiness window the app provides, for reference), but I have never gotten my complete order from this store, specifically. I thought it was my bad for occasionally ordering an a la carte item with

I just went there and asked for leg lovers. The guy didn’t even check with the cook and said we don’t have it. I then asked for wing lovers and got the same answer. They usually check and then let me know But this guy was not even checking. When I went to the window to pay I asked for senior discount and he asked me how old I was (I’m 66 btw), I told him I didn’t need to give him that information. Then he said he couldn’t give me the discount if I didn’t show some ID. That he needed to scan my ID. I told him that since I have been buying pollo loco, nobody ever asked to see my ID, then I paid add I asked for some coupons, he said e we don’t have any. He was so rude so I said you guys don’t have anything; no leg lovers, no wing lovers no coupons and he answered yeah, we don’t have anything

Food always delicious, customer service not so great, I was waiting for my order inside the store,and I think the manager Johana? Was there and she just ignored my order and was doing Drive thrus orders, I heard one of the employees told her"please make her order she is waiting for so long and her order is just there" and she just ignored the employee until that employee made my order and apologized to me.

First time that I'm hearing that El Pollo Loco doesn't sell red meat. I got the street tacos. Taco AL carbon. I thought I was ordering the chicken avocado tacos. I went up to get which I thought was my forgotten avocado but I guess the cashier ordered for me instead of clarifying which one I wanted. The AL carbon chicken was a little dry to be honest. It came with a few chips. Every time I decide to give this place another shot for some reason I get disappointed.

They get my order wrong Everytime and when I call and tell the manager he said he will write my name down and then when I go back and tell them that they give me an attitude like it is my fault and it seems like Everytime we go they got an attitude.
