El Pollo Guapo

Pollo Guapo is an absolute gem in Glastonbury! The food is consistently amazing, fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection every single time. What truly takes this place over the top, though, is the top-notch customer service. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to make sure you have a great experience. You’re treated like a friend and not just another order. If you’re looking for incredible food paired with outstanding service, Pollo Guapo is the place. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!!

I stopped going to the Newington location because I found that something was different about the flavor of The food that I have been getting for so many years. So I went to the Glastonbury restaurant and was Very pleased except for one issue, the sweet potatoes that I got was only half of the size that I would normally get in Newington. The flavor was 100% on point with all the items I got. I will be returning to this location.

Always a favorite spot for me and my friends. We come here especially for the Brussels sprouts. We literally cannot get enough of them or the salty, lime chips. The nachos they make are out of this world, really everything they make is, honestly. If you’re not eating there, you’re missing out.

AWESOME!! El Pollo Guapo in Glastonbury is great!!! You have to try it. Very friendly counter service. Dazed and Confused Rice Bowl is one the best taste experiences ever. So much going on in there, a different flavor in every bite. It is a good size bowl for lunch. Spicy Taco is great as well. Very tasty but very messy to eat. Rice side with Tacos is ok. Inside is plain and simple with a few tables in the back. Would definitely go back.

I've already been a longtime fan of El Pollo Guapo, even before the Glastonbury location opened. But recently, I used them for a corporate catering event and they were phenomenal! The food was delicious, they thought of everything as far as plates & utensils, and Kayla was a dream to work with. Highly recommend!
