El Poblano Mexican Restaurant

This amazing restaurant has only been open a year. All the staff are super friendly and attentive. The music is fun. The food is fantastic and came out quick. I had the grilled tilapia tacos that were perfectly covered in cilantro! So yummy. The chips and salsa were fabulous. My husband ordered the shrimp dinner. I paid $10 for my tacos and his meal was only $14. The value is exceptional. It's super easy to find right off highway 26. The decor is beautiful. The sangria was great. The dos xx's was on draft. Highly recommend!!!

Great food. Just a short walk from our hotel. Our server was great except for the fact a side of rice and a margarita never got to us. Wasn't to crowded when we got there but started filling up quick. I ordered the fried chimichongas and my date got the fajita nachos. Both were delicious. Will definitely be back if in the area.

Service was friendly and good came out fast. The mariachi band was cool. Includes loud drums. This place does not have a salsa bar. We ordered the guacamole and it was not guacamole. It was instant dip (not made with avocados). The salsa served tasted like canned tomatoes. However my vegetarian chili poblano was delicious.

We were on a road trip down the east coast and we were tired of fast food. We pulled over in Clinton, SC and found this amazing Mexican restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with enthusiasm and sat immediately. They were very busy, and people kept coming in, but they have a stated that gets everyone seated and ready to be served within seconds. The food was tasty, prices were very affordable, and the service was stellar. A bonus for me was hearing the Spanish language spoken by all employees as it made me feel right at home and was a very different vibe than what we had seen on the rest of our road trip. Not sure tbh at we will make it back this way, but I totally recommend form those on the road that need a good home cooked style meal with great service.

Ordered the Tres Amigos which was delicious with a Mango Margarita! Missed the delivery of our cheese dip, but there was so much food I have a full to go box anyway. Will definitely come back.
