El Patron Mexican Grill - Robertsdale

We always enjoy going to El Parron Mexican Grill. The service is very good and helpful and the food has always been great. We usually share a fajitas dinner. That's enough for us both and to take what's left home for lunch the next day. The home made salsa is very good. They recently moved into their new building, immediately behind where they have been for years. It's beautiful! Plenty of parking and decorated beautifully. I Highly recommend El Patrons.

First time having this “Coctel de Cameron” and a “Happy Hour Margarita”. It was loaded with Shrimp too😋 See included photo. Our waitress was “Nancy” was very attentive and gave us very good food advice and service.

My wife’s and my first visit to El Patron was exceptional. The food was excellent and our server, Nancy, was the best. Very attentive and very personable. Prices were more than reasonable given the quality of both service and food. I am giving four stars for one reason only, the background music was too loud to carry on reasonable conversation. A problem with a very easy solution. Thank you El Patron and thank you Nancy for a great experience!! See you both again!!

The food was not great. I had more onions than meat in my fajitas and the meat pieces were sooooo small amd almost burnt. My husbamd got a burrito and we specifically asked for his sauce to be not spicy, but is was and he couldn't eat it. They took the burrito away but still charged us for it almost $8... the prices and food were better before they opened the new building...not impressed and won't be back. This used to be out favorite Mexican restaurant in Baldwin county....

This new restaurant, located behind the old (and frankly sad looking) El Rodeo in Robertsdale, has gotten off to an interesting start if my initial dining experience is anything to go by. The new place is much nicer both inside and out, decorated in bright colors and whites. It feels open and welcoming. This area is overrun with Mexican restaurants of one type or another, but it's always nice to have another choice, especially one with a more expansive menu than just "tacos, burritos and enchiladas, oh my". They have all those things, but a lot more, too. And even the standard fare is offered with more choice of meats than just shrimp, chicken or steak. There's quail, al pastor, lengua and more!
