El Paso Tacos & Tequila

We tried El Paso Tacos and Tequila during our last weekend living here and it was an overall okay experience. I ordered the enchiladas rancheras with cheese. The beans were actually really good and the virgin coconut drink was delicious, but the enchilada sauce tasted like it came from a jar rather than something freshly made. We also ordered the small queso dip and it reminded us of Kraft macaroni and cheese in soup form, which was not our favorite. We are from Houston so we usually compare everything to the Tex Mex over there. This place would not make our top ten list, but we were at least glad to finally try it before leaving so we know we were not missing anything special. First time at this place. We sat outside but the mosquitoes were so bad, they ran us indoors. I had about 15 bites on my legs from sitting outside for 5 minutes. The service was good and food was decent. Prices are moderate

Food was actually decent. But HORRIBLE service!!! Entire staff constantly neglected entire restaurant to sing karaoke. We weren't checked on once. Then our waitress clocked out and left and didnt close us out or inform us.

Our waitress Monica was amazing! What an amazing place to have lunch! Very thankful this is down the road from home!!!

I love the flan, the chiles rellenos and the flautas! Hands down the best menu entrees! Nikki and Jocelyn are the SWEETEST waitresses here! I enjoy seeing them every time I come here for lunch. Food is delicious, big portions, and comes out fast. Service is great and attentive.
