El Palenque Pizzeria Cubana

I had a great time at this new Palenque Pizzeria Cubana location. I think it has a lot of promise, especially since Okeechobee Road and the areas around it are being modernized. The region is getting better, which will probably make this place even more appealing, even now you can fetch very nice sunsets here. Their Cuban pizza and smoothies with tropical fruit are really great. I summary the food is great, the atmosphere is nice, it's one of the few new franchises that I know lets you sit down and eat, most locations only let you pick up your and delivery. I think this place is already amazing and will get more better soon.

The service was amazing and the atmosphere is good but the pizza was really bad, the flavor was ok with the perfect amount of everything but the pizza dough felt old past its proof.

I had a really disappointing experience at El Palenque Pizzeria in Medley. The pizza was horrible — bland and just not enjoyable at all. I also tried the mamey shake, and it was the worst I’ve ever had. It had no flavor and didn’t even taste like mamey. Definitely not coming back.

The worst thing I’ve ever tried, my daughter ordered a hamburger with mushrooms, bacon, and onions. She only got cheese and onions, and her fries needed bacon. She only got cheese. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a cheese pizza, we were the first ones and everyone else but us got their food. We never got the ham and Hawaiian pizza. The nastiest thing ever and I don’t recommend this to anyone, not even my worst enemies. The worker messed up our order. I regret giving tips. Way too expensive for all that wait. If you’re hungry and you want to go out to eat. Don’t go here unless you want the worst experience of your life.
