El Palenque Mexican Cuisine

Best Chiles Poblanos Rellenos I have ever eaten would of given 5 stars but their chips & salsa wasn't anything special. I like lighter chips & chunky salsa. It was 97 degrees that day & their air condition wasn't keeping the dinning room very cool.

I had higher expectations as this is a more established Mexican restaurant. The hostesses was ok not too pleasant although I'm not quite sure if language was a barrier but she somewhat smiled as she showed us to our seats. There was no conversation even as I asked how her day was going. Our drink server was great! I don't think she understood what all we were saying either but her attitude and smile made up for it. She also checked on us periodically and asked "Everything ok? , or "More soda for you?" as we were waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. She was very pleasant and seemed happy to meet any requests that she understood. Now as for our server, I don't know how quite to explain how his overall conduct was. He seemed to be so bothered by the fact that we were waiting for 3 mor

We put a donation box for survivors of human trafficking. They literally lost it for 2 weeks it had money in it and all the sudden it was gone. Nobody knew where it was or what we were talking about. After 2 weeks and finally just saying all we want it the donation box back they magically found it...empty of course. Its disgusting about like their food. I will never support this place and id hope anyone with morals would eat somewhere else. Thai kithen, carols lakeview diner,maharani's all very nice places with good food and they dont steal donations from survivors of human trafficking.

Good food good atmosphere this place is my happy place food was out in less than 5 mins amazing waiters amazing experience love it!

Not my slice of tea. Definitely not very authentic. Staff were nice enough.. Guac salad,, chips and salsa and the chicken burrito were not bad, but I would not go back for the Chile relleno or enchilada, which are typically my faves.
