El Nopal of Floral Park

I finally made my way to El Nopal in Floral Park, and I'm kicking myself for not discovering this gem sooner! I ordered the asada burrito, and it was an absolute standout – generously packed with tender, flavorful meat and super fresh ingredients that made every bite a delight. The portions are hearty, and the quality shines through, making it clear why this spot has earned its local reputation for authentic Mexican eats. That said, my order also included chips and guac, which unfortunately didn't make it into the bag. I was tempted to dock a star or two for the oversight, as I was really looking forward to that classic combo. This is the first time trying this restaurant while driving by. It's a little hidden on a corner but it's well worth it. It's very clean inside and colorful. The staff smiles and is very nice. Now to the best part of the review the food. DELICIOUS, FRESH, LARGE PORTIONS & NOT EXPENSIVE. You can tell this is real authentic homemade food cooked fresh. The bathroom is clean. There is parking outside free & metered. Safe area and well worth the try.

Margarita oír waitress was amazing ! She does the best margaritas ! The food was amazing I got birria beef ! I recommend this spot to come with friends for a chill day out ! Love it ! 5 Stars for me 🩷🫶

Waitress was awesome the food we got were big portions and did taste good. The drinks we bought were a little sweet for our liking but overall a great experience.

I was really craving tacos and decided to try this spot since it’s right by my house. I didn’t realize they had two different kinds of beef tacos, so I ended up ordering one that was $17—which caught me off guard a bit lol. On the bright side, everyone there was super nice. The pupusas were amazing—big, cheesy, and definitely the highlight of the meal. I’d come back for those alone!
