El Mixteco Mexican Bar & Grill Grayson

I’ve been here 4 times in 6 weeks and it’s been excellent every time! Service is great, food is always delicious and generously portioned. The burritos are massive and such a good price for what you get! House made hot sauce is good as well as salsa and queso. Lunch menu is everyday of the week including weekends! Most of the bad reviews on here were when the location was still a shoneys, ignore those and go feast!

They have the best food, with huge portions at great prices! Everyone there is always kind and the restaurant is always clean! Don't have to wait long on food to arrive after ordering & they always come through checking plenty on your table. 4 teens who all enjoy it and love going which isn't easy to do since the 3 siblings always argue about not liking the same place everywhere else - no complaints from anyone here!

We were greeted and sat quickly and friendly. Food came out fast and was delicious. We just moved to the area and definitely will be back.

Stopped in for lunch with my son after getting hair cuts for school. Nice place, older building, cool decor, lunch specials are reasonabley prices. Wide variety for Mexican style food. Waitress's were very good! Lunch was good, I got the beef enchiladas and Ashton got the chimichanga. Chips and salsa and lunch was enough to fill us both up! Great food, worth the stop if you are in Grayson, Kentucky!!!

This was the grand opening of El Mixteco in Grayson, Ky. As always with most Mexican restaurants we were 1st served with chips and salsa and got an order of queso also. The Salsa was ok but was a tad too hot for our liking but the queso I thought was really good. My daughter ordered a chicken quesadilla deluxe I think and she just didn’t like it, it looked good appearance wise. The beans just had a weird taste to them and the vegetables inside wasn’t throughly cooked so she gave it 2 stars. My wife order Tamales and she said they deserve a 0 and she wasn’t lying as I tried them. Probably the worse tamales I’ve ever tasted in my life. I didn’t think you could screw Tamales up? I ordered a pollo al la mexicana and it was actually real good. I’d seriously give it a 5 star and the serving was
