El Mesón Del Inca

This is not authentic Peruvian food. The sandwiches I ordered (Salchicha Huachana) were not real huachana sausages and tasted more like Italian sausage which doesn't even come close to the flavor it should be; more bread than filling and dry, not moist. And they are cheap with the sauces - 3 sandwiches and they only provided for sauces for 2.

Their chicken combo comes with a whole chicken with large fries and a salad for $25 - is a really good deal! The chicken is very flavorful, the fries are cooked perfectly, and the salad (with lettuce, beets, and tomatoes) is fresh and tasty. The combo also comes with Peruvian green spicy sauces that are so good, plus a creamy green salad dressing that’s absolutely delicious.

15 Years of ordering from this restaurant and always give a $3 to $5 tip. Never have I had one complaint. Lomo Saltado was on the menu for $17 and some change. On the receipt it is $18. 20 and a mystery charge of .22 cents which was explained was to buy the bag... What is the discrepancy of the prices? No one could say why. Taste was average however, not up to the normal standards that we normally receive. The portion sizes are generous. Love and I mean LoVe Their Whole Chicken. I hope and pray this is a one off but the prices need to be worked out! Charging for bags is insanity because the food it hot and it could spill and burn a person, so common sense dictates that it would be included. P.S. I usually don’t like leaving bad reviews because I know how much effort owners and staff put into their businesses. However, this experience was so disappointing that I couldn’t stay quiet about it. The “Pork Chops Seco” was not what I expected at all — it wasn’t pork, but beef in a thick gravy sauce. The name “seco” usually means dry, but the dish was the opposite. I was expecting pork chops and got beef ribs instead. They really should be clearer about what they’re selling. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it. The chaufa was tasteless and the mussels wasn’t open that usually means they were undercooked. Definitely not ordering again from them.

Their ceviche was very fresh and tasty. Great value for your buck.
