El Mariachi

I recently visited El Mariachi and had a great experience! 🌮 The food was tasty and hit all the right notes for authentic Tex-Mex flavor. 🥘 I was really impressed by how good and fast the service was; the staff kept things moving perfectly without making us feel rushed. 🏃💨 ​One detail I particularly appreciated was the use of real tablecloths, which gave the dining room a nice, polished feel compared to more casual spots. 🥂 It’s a wonderful place for a delicious, sit-down meal that still feels efficient and welcoming. 🌯✨

This place has stood the test of time as restaurants go. I hadn't been there in years until yesterday. Very pleasant staff and service. We all got fajitas that promptly came to our table sizzling. Delicious.

My steak fajita was fabulous. Pro tip: order the vegetables well done and the meat medium-well. See pic. Hot and delicious. Toppings were meh. Not enough guacamole. Rice is rice. Beans are beans. My tablemates liked their meals.

We had high hopes when we picked this restaurant. The dining room is very nice and cozy. Menu seemed very nice. I ordered a seafood stew and the seafood was not fresh. The scallops tasted terrible. I eventually got sick this morning from that. I would beware of what you order here. Maybe their other dishes are excellent but the dish that was served to me was terrible and expensive!

So the food here is really good! I had a chicken chimichanga and the queso dip, and both were great! Now…the reason for 3 stars: the service here is lacking. I sat at the bar, and I felt as if I was bothering the bartender by trying to order something. Once I got my appetizer, I didn’t see him again until it was time to pay the check, at which point he decided to become “chatty” I’m assuming to try and get a larger tip. Because of the tv at the bar, plenty of waiters seemed to hover near me to watch it (which was off-putting while trying to enjoy my food), but no one ever asked if I needed anything. Additionally, El Mariachi doesn’t have a happy hour, drink specials, not even beer specials and their margaritas are quite expensive (see pic below). I would say this is a great place to grab s
