El Maguey Mexican Restaurant

Amazing food, staff came and checked on us frequently, very respectful waiters and they also have a great sense of humor. Atmosphere was nice and played nice relaxing music. The food here was extremely authentic, the presentation and taste was on par with the presentation and taste of when I visited Barcelona.

Looks like as of 12-11-2025 El Maguey is no more. I was craving El Pollo Loco and Some Beef Tacos, the phone number is disconnected so I drove by and there is nothing left in the place, no tables or booths. Super sad to see them go! I enjoyed it while it was here!

I went at lunch time. The service was wonderful. The staff were quick and attentive. I got the polo loco. It was delicious.

food was pretty good. Had to ask for extra hot sauce and refill my drinks several times and at one point I was the only person in the restaurant.. thirty two dollars one person seems to a little steep and all I got was the Texas fajita which on the menu was like almost $17 that’s average but I got no alcohol. I did get a Coke to drink so I’m not sure I’m not sure if they charge me for every drink I drink in every hot sauce I got I didn’t ask. I just paid went.

I would definitely go back to this restaurant. I had actually ordered food online but without knowing had ordered from 1 of their restaurants over an hour away from me. When I was talking with the hostess/waitress she called to see where I had ordered from then cancelled the order for me and told me " I will have your food ready within 15 minutes if you would like ". Of course I said yes and within 15 minutes I was leaving with 2 fresh, hot and delicious meals for myself and my father ! She was so helpful, understanding, polite, and accommodating to me, and I was truly appreciative of her kindness and help. Highly recommend them and will definitely be going back !
