El Limon Phoenixville

We went at 2:30 in the afternoon. It looks closed (not open) from the outside and the tinted windows make it impossible to see what's going on inside until you pull the door open. Once inside, it is a clean and large restaurant. The service was very good. I would have said that the service was excellent but it did take around 15 minutes for our meals to come out, not sure why. The food was just okay. Everything tastes like it comes from a package including the chips. The chicken in my burrito tasted and smelled a bit old. They nickle and dime for everything: chips and salsa are $6.95, jalapeños with your meal are $2.00, etc. They play authentic Mexican music inside which I do not like but it is after all a Mexican restaurant. The food was incredible and not expensive. The service was friendly, accommodating, and fast. They were courteous and the place was immaculately clean. It was pretty quiet when we were there but I hope they do well here.

Did someone said free margaritas? Lol. They are probably virgin, but they were good. I enjoyed the mole sauce, the carnitas was so tender, the barbacoa taco was good too. Server was nice and the food was cheap. Place felt clean.

Good food and nice flavors overall. The dishes were tasty and felt fresh. A few items could be improved slightly, but overall it was a pleasant experience and worth trying.

We went about an hour before closing, and we were seated immediately. The waiter was great, very professional and gracious. I ordered a chicken burrito with mole sauce. It was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Quite large and filling. I will definitely be going back!
