EL KOMEDERO

We finally gave El Komedero a try and one thing was immediately apparent: we waited WAY too long to come in and try it. What a pleasant, marked improvement from the previous restaurant! Service was very friendly and very fast. The restaurant wasn't busy to be fair, but the staff was on their game. Our waiter had a great sense of timing, coming just the right amount for refills and checking on us. All our food was extremely flavorful with generous portions and plated well. Everyone in our group could not believe just how amazingly delicious the food was. All in all, this is now a place we'll definitely return to. Might even have to classify this as our new favorite Mexican place. Very highly recommended.

Maybe ordering the Cancun summer salad in February was my mistake as there was no pineapple or mango and the cantaloupe replacement was not well ripened. However, the presentation was great and despite the lacking fruit the seasoned chicken still made it taste quite good.

This will be the place to go for weekly date night with my husband. The atmosphere is so chill and classy, the margaritas very good and not watery or lacking in tequila. Food quality also very good! So good my husband tipped almost $20 bucks. Definitely an improvement compared to the previous restaurant at this location, give this place a try you won’t regret it!!

Townies know this place has been through a couple owners since the old days, and this is a good one! The best service we've had at a restaurant in a long time, and all of the food was both delicious and presented beautifully. Sopas, flautas, del mar trio, and the Hawaiian fajitas are family tested and approved 😁 Menu is varied and familiar. Don't forget dessert!
