In the area for a few days of geocaching, we stopped for dinner. The staff greeted us warmly as they did everyone entering while we were there. Food was plentiful and yum

Ordered a Beef burrito and got hamburger , Beef means shredded Beef , Mexican rice was rice cooked in tomato sauce , very bland , no veggies or cilantro , no flavor . Ordered a chicken Taco , I got boiled chicken with lettuce on a soft flour tortilla , Taco is a corn tortilla that's crispy with cheese and salsa . My tab was slow to arrive and slow to process . This place needs to cook authentic Mexican food with flavors that represent .

We ordered bria tacos and had drinks. Servers were very attentive. The chips and salsa were very fresh. Our food was served hot. The drinks were potent! Lol.

Nice atmosphere, Amazing drinks! Super busy being their second night. Very friendly, attentive staff. Big clean bathrooms, spacious patio. Not a bad thing to say.

We happened to stop in Wauseon for the night. The hotel suggested El Jarro stating that we wouldn't be disappointed. She was right ~ our meals were OUTSTANDING!!! My husband had the shrimp chimichunga and I had the taco salad with the table-side handmade guacamole. We can't speak highly enough about the food and the warm and friendly service. We HIGHLY recommend El Jarro!
