El Jalisco Mexican Grill

Lunch was very flavorful, the house margarita was really good even for being "house" tequila. The restaurant has tons of charm. I ordered the Sp17 which came with one beef quesadilla, 1 beef burrito and one chilli relleno. The only thing I would say is the chilli relleno was was very cooked and cold. The quesadilla and burrito were delicious. The relleno tasted delicious but it was cold. My husband got the chicken quesadilla and it was also FULL of chicken and he loved it. The salsa was delicious. Our hostess was really cute. She would rattle off something in Mexican to her co workers and then suddenly yell for someone in a thick Georgia & Alabama Southern twang. Our server, was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely go back.

I came here after being completely ignored at the BBQ place across the street. Yes, I stood there for over 5 minutes (please wait to be seated) without even being acknowledged. They weren't that busy. Saw El Jalisco across the street and crossed over. Glad I did. Greeted immediately. Seated immediately. Attentive server (who was clearly new, but trying very hard). Had the large puffed taco with chicken. Not easy to eat, but very tasty. Large draft Dos Equis to wash it down. 20 bucks. I'd do this again.

Mexican restaurant in the historic area of Eufaula. The atmosphere is great, the food great... but, the fried cheesecake was quite frankly amazing. Olé

My husband and I left there about an hour and a half ago. I got fish tacos. I told the waitress no pico and I told her it is because I am severely allergic to red onions. I ate the first one and started to feel funny. I looked under the lettuce and cheese on the 2nd one and it was full of red onions. We couldn't find our waitress, but another lady came to see what was wrong and took it off our bill. My husband paid while I was outside throwing up. We've been here many times before, but this was the first time this happened. In the future when someone tells you not to put something on your food because you are allergic. PLEASE LISTEN

The food is good and so is the service. I recommend the fajitas and chips and salsa. The place is clean and the waiting staff is attentive. The restaurant is family friendly too!
