Big H Chicken

Well worth the stop!! We are traveling back through the Eufaula, Alabama area and decided to stop even though it was packed and we were in a hurry. Now we understand why it was so busy. I got a two piece combo (breast and leg) that came with mashed potatoes and gravy and a yeast roll. The leg was outstanding, but let’s talk about that chicken breast, which is always the driest part, pretty much any place you go, so a good fried breast is a mark, in my opinion, of a good chicken place. I’ve never had a chicken breast be that juicy and flavorful. I’d put this second only to Gus’s Fried Chicken (IYKYK). Good, simple food. I'm picky about fried chicken and it's always been good here. I've been stopping in whenever I pass through town for over 10 years .And it's a good value for your money.

This is very good country home cooked food . First time eating here just passing through to go home and was pleasantly surprised. It was the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. We ate mashed potatoes, collard greens , blackeye peas , dressing and mac n cheese for all 4 of us . Everything was very good ! Also at 13.00 a plate it's very good priced ! Will definitely eat there again if ever back in the area .
