EL IMPORTADO "FLOWERY BRANCH"

My burger was good, but it was more rare than I prefer. The staff were nice.

El Importado had tasty food, but you really had to want it to enjoy it. We seek out Venezuelan and Colombian restaurants when we travel, so I was excited to discover one in Oakwood! We went on a Saturday evening, and the ladies in the bakery (which is wonderful) found someone at El Importado to come and take our order after a few minutes of waiting. We had to look at the menu on our phones and ask the gentleman many questions to clarify, because there were no paper or screen menus available. He did warn us that the portions were big, but we wanted to try a few different flavors - so for two people, we got a burger plate (with drink), two arepas, and a maduro/plantain. The burger and fries were normal, and the arepas had a lot of meat (straight, up, a lot!), but it was really hard to swallo

Tonight was awful. The owners were there and treated me horribly. Just watched everyone get served but me! I paid 20 dollars plus a 5 dollar tip for this! And waited 35 mins! No apologizes nothing. I have video of them just starting at me,laughing and feeding everyone but me. Obviously they do not like white women there. I will never eat here or suggest this place ever again: Do BETTER

Excellent service from Enrique...we tried the Gratinated Picaña Patacón and the "keto" Burger prepared by Joel and they were really delicious...definitely recommended!

The taste is good, but for me in particular a little expensive compared to other Venezuelan places. And they should improve their cleanliness.
