EL Cowboy

I'm big on atmosphere, and with the quaint hacienda decor and feel, this place did not disappoint! I really like that the booth felt private and we weren't watching everyone eat. The bar area was super cute. The menu selection was vast and the prices were very affordable. My husband and I each ordered a 7.99 lunch on a Saturday. Most lunch menus are only good M-F. We both enjoyed our food, but I did have a little food envy when I saw a plate of some kind of grilled chicken as I was walking to the restroom. It looked amazing. The chips tasted house made. The restaurant was super clean, and the service was fast and friendly.

Very nice restaurant. We were seated immediately and drink orders taken. Chips and salsa (this had a nice flavor) were brought and orders taken. Food came quickly. I had fajitas, chicken and beef and hubby had steak. Both were very tasty and nicely seasoned. Atmosphere was nice with booths semi private which was very nice. At a busy time of day I could see where they would be appreciated. As truckers, we appreciated the large area to park our bobtail. Service was good and attentive. Their menu was normal Mexican dishes with some American thrown in for the person who isn't into spicy foods.

El Cowboy Mexican Restaurant was an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an excellent dining experience. Working in the area and checked out this place after a recommendation from a local. Had a frozen peach mango margarita (interesting drizzle on side per picture) and a shrimp fajita quesadilla. Both very good. Live Spanish band on Saturday was just a little loud

The food was amazing! I had the Chicken Fajita Chimichanga meal and it was incredible. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant is spotless and beautiful inside!
