El Coqui Bakery Sanford

Coqui Bakery needs to improve their customer service if they want to keep customers around. People spend their money where they feel the most valued. I visited Coqui bakery on 2/28/26 and I was extremely disappointed. Firstly, no one smiled nor said hello when I walked through the door. Also when I left no one said have good day. These small interactions matter so much because it shows the customer that they are valued. Secondly, they made my order incorrectly and served me a stale pastry. How can a bakery serve stale pastries to their customers. Lastly, the tables shake easily. Half my coffee spilled as I tried to set it down on the table. As a fellow Puerto Rican I was deeply hurt that my own people were so cold to me and my family.

Quaint little panaderia Puertoriqueña, serving delicious breakfast items, sandwiches and treats. Strawberry coffee latte was delicious, cappuccino also amazing. Staff was friendly despite being super busy 💜sandwiches were well proportioned with incredible taste. 10/10 would recommend & will definitely return. *Sanford* 6 minutes away from Amtrak Autotrain.

We got breakfast sandwiches which were perfectly made. I got a coffee with brown sugar, oatmilk, and vanilla and it was delicious. I was worried because I normally like a lot of milk and it was quite brown still, but it was so good still! They also have a lovely amount of pastries, which are soooo fresh and amazing!

This place is amazing! The staff is great, the food is delicious and the cappuccino is one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. I got the eggs, ham, and toast breakfast, which was only around $5. Also got a guava pastry that was so light and delicious. I will definitely be back soon!
