El Coco Mexican Bar & Grill

This is by far my favorite Mexican place in the area- not only is the service super fast & friendly, the food is so delicious and portions are much more generous compared to other local joints, La Hacienda and Los Tapatios. I love the salsa bar, so fun to try different salsas with the complimentary chips before your food comes! The place is clean, updated, and a fun place to go for food and drinks. Haven’t tried them yet, but the margaritas look amazing.

Very generous portions, salsa was tasty and not too spicy, great flavor. The rice had great flavor (although I am not a fan of carrots and peas being added). Friendly service, wonderful atmosphere. The menu had many options for gluten free and vegetarian dishes.

**(updated 12/2025) I continue to add photos for each new item I or anyone I come with orders, check them to see how the meals look. Also, they got in new chairs which look great, nice and colorful with scenes of Mexico, and new/updated menus. I was in the neighborhood and looking for a nice place to grab a bite when I came across El Coco. The restaurant is so vibrant and colorful, the staff are warm and friendly. This is such a beautifully decorated place, it’s nice to see something open up in the area. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Carnitas Mexicanas, the pork was nicely seasoned, tender, and succulent. The nopal cooked in with the peppers and onions were great as well, they add a nice brightness to the pork, rice, and beans. Mom got the lunch fajitas, she went for ch

When you want to experience a genuine Mexican food and atmosphere experience, swing by! They are BIPOC and family-friendly! Reasonably priced, generous portions. Homemade taste in everything! We've been there weekly since it opened. So good!

Me and my Husband ordered take out from here on date night and it was absolute delicious, The owners are very pleasant and helpful Shrimp salad was very fresh and tasty . Don’t even get me started on the rice and beans they are out of this world. I’ve never had better rice and beans in my life.
