El Catrachito Restaurant

I was born in Honduras but adopted when I was less than a year old. I chatted with an Uber driver about my background and he instantly recommended this spot. I finally managed to get here this past weekend and I am so glad I did. We bought so many different things to try. It was my first time trying more authentic Honduran food. Everything was absolutely delicious. My Spanish speaking friend ordered everything for us. They were patient as we ordered our mountain of food. Very happy with everything!

Everything is over priced, the restaurant charges for every little things even ingredients that go with the dishes. Wicth is ridiculous. I ordered tajadas con pollo and dish hardly had cabbage, and it didn't even include cortido morado. On top of that, they charge $3.00 for it, and it's in a 2 oz container. Lastly, the chicken seemed reheated because it was dry, and it didn't have any meat on the bone. Don't waste your money here!

My husband was quietly enjoying coffee/food and working on his laptop during a slow period when the restaurant was nearly empty. Despite being a paying customer, the owner rudely and aggressively told him to leave because he was there for too long. It was clear the issue wasn’t noise or space — just that he wasn’t spending "enough" money to justify being there. This kind of money-hungry attitude, especially toward solo diners, is disappointing and short-sighted. There are plenty of other places that value customers, treat people with respect, and understand that hospitality is about more than just maximizing profit. Love, Love the food, the only downside is that they change cooks every so often, and the food doesn't taste quite as good. I really appreciate that they have one waitress, who is very attentive. I can't remember her name at the moment but she deserves good remarks for our customer service. And making me keep patronizing the business, even after I was disappointed in receiving a bad meal. She's a very good asset to this business. She probably knows who I'm speaking of. And that's the only reason I'm giving the restaurant a four star, because it's like up and down.You never know what the food is gonna be like on any random day. Don't get me wrong. When the food is good. It's good. And when it's bad it's bad.
