Cheros Grill

The Cheros bowl was perfect. Fresh veggies, good layering of ingredients, and the right serving size. You can't see from my photo the black beans and rice under all those fresh goodies. I loved that the rice wasn't dry. The service was fast.

So my wife and I were doing our usual dance of "What do you want for dinner?" and I decided to take matters into my own hands and do a search for "food near me". Up pops Cheros Grill. As a proud resident of the People's Republic of Takoma Park, I felt it was necessary to support this local business. So off I went. I have driven past the location for years and never thought about trying it but today was the day and boy oh boy what a day. First, let's start with the clean atmosphere. It may be at a service station but their area is super clean. Upon arrival, you are greeted by the Tia who is very pleasant and about her business. Great food, great value, friendly family business. I have been coming here for years, and the burritos and tacos are reliably delicious. Wonderful vegetarian options, too. Strong recommend for reliable and affordable yummy lunch or dinner!

The food was amazing and barely took any time for the food to be ready. We got steak tacos and after we finished them, we got seconds. These were some of the best tacos I have ever had! The people are so nice. I would definitely come back.
