EL CARBONERO RESTAURANT AND PUPUSERIA

My family and I chose to eat here after reading the supposed 4 star reviews and the truth is we were hugely disappointed. First, the service was very slow, it took a long time to get our drinks, second, my dish (casamiento) was very salty, the pupusas were very dry and flat, almost like tortillas, and lastly the pastelitos were also too salty and the chicken was very dry. When I commented, they told me that I am the first person to complain, that their food is not suitable for my taste. Regularly whenever we come to Vegas we go to another Salvadoran restaurant but it was packed and the truth is we were already hungry (bad decision) A recommendation is it better to have too little salt in the food than too much.

The food is delicious but they lack in service. We sat for 15 minutes before service. We didn't get our apps for 30 minutes. When I asked the server where our food was, she said 5 more minutes that turned into 45 minutes. We left disappointed.

Honestly, one of the best tasting and well presented Salvadoran restaurants in town! A jem owned by an amazing family. Food was well seasoned. The guy who serviced us was very kind and helpful. Also offered refills and thoughtful if we wanted extra. Delicious and beautifully plated dishes. Portion size and cost of food was good as well. Honestly, no complaints. Must visit! 👍

Soooooo goooood. I usually don’t return to restaurants because unfortunately, I’m picky lol but I will definitely return. Server Sandra was the sweetest! 😊

There are many Salvadorian restaurant options but me and my wife always come back to this one. It's the food quality and authentic flavors. Especially the Sopa de Gallina 🐔 recommended 🧂👌
