El Azteca Route 66 Sequoyah/Claremore

We walked in and were seated immediately—off to a great start. They brought out a generous portion of chips right away, and let me just say, these were some good chips. Thin, crispy, clearly made fresh—exactly how chips should be. We had a group of five and placed a pretty large order, but surprisingly, our food came out in less than 10 minutes. The portions? Massive. Everything looked and tasted great, but the queso especially stood out—it was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Our drinks stayed full, and they checked on us often without being overbearing. You can tell this place has a solid reputation. While we were sitting in the parking lot talking after our meal, we saw multiple people pulling in to grab to-go orders. All in all

The food was so good and I will definitely be going back. Fresh thin tortilla chips with homemade salsa. I had the Burrito Mexicana and from the first bite my taste buds were delighted.

Stopped in to share an early dinner with the wife. Friendly place, good service. The food was above average. Not too fabulous, but better than most. The ground beef in the Taco, Enchilada and Burrito were well seasoned. The Salsa is good with a little heat. They kept it filled along with the tea. Worth coming back.

The food here isn't bad, it's actually always been a favorite of ours, but I will not be returning to this location again. As we were enjoying our meal, one of their televisions suddenly began showing very graphic sexual content. Mind you, we weren't the only family there with small children. This went on for quite a while before an employee came and changed the channel. When I brought it up to our server, the laughed it off. When I brought it up to the manager, he was unconcerned to the point of being rude and took zero responsibility. I couldn't be more disgusted. The attitudes about the situation was enough to make us go elsewhere from now on.
