Gibbys South in Your Mouth

First off Anessa was a FABULOUS server. She took awesome care of us for the whole meal. And the food was wonderful. We enjoyed everything from the gater bites, swamp fries, and chicken. They were even amazing doing a variety of proteins on my Cajun Alfredo. We will definitely be back 🥰

Fun atmosphere. Tentative wait staff. Let’s start with those delicious biscuits - oh so yummy filled with garlic & cheese flavor. I had the swamp fries and they were full of crawfish tails, shrimp and sausage topped with cheese and “comeback” sauce which was yummy. Hubby had catfish basket and he went with blackened, said it was very tasty - his meal included 2 sides (he did mashed potatoes and fried okra both of which were great) + hushpuppies that were cooked perfect. We will def go back and try other items on the menu.

Place was awesome. The voodoo chicken was great. My dad had the frog legs and there were no complaints at all..😱 ordered swamp fries for an appetizer, amazing just like the biscuits, Ordered extra biscuits for mom and im not sure they made it thru the next day. Place is Awesome. Make the trip. We went around 1115am on a Sunday. Waiting couple of minutes. By the time we were done. It was packed.

the best meal i’ve ever had in Oklahoma so far. The best mashed potatoes i’ve ever had. That gravy??? it’s to die for. The mixed drinks? especially the whisky sour? perfect. the seasoning? perfect. i’m only mad it took me so long to try eating here. EDIT: also their servers were all nice and every single one was very knowledgeable about the menu and the specials that night. I could hear other servers talking to tables as they came to check on them and even if our server was busy helping someone else another server would come and ask to refill our drinks. Our server Will was the bomb.

If I could give Gibby’s 10, I would! Born in Louisiana and traveled the country, trying all kinds of food as well as having Chef friends, I can say that the Louisiana in me was HAPPY! That Rich blackened flavoring on my food, made it an absolute divine dining experience! I know those red beans had to have been cooked for many hours to have the flavor cooked into them! The biscuits were a surprise, and that lemon flavor on top made them one of a kind! Our service was fantastic from the door to the table and back out the door again! The manager/owner Took the time to stop by and see what we thought about our dinner as well as to listen to what we said. I can tell she loves her job because she was truly at ease!
